At DCGS we are proud of our students and their achievements and know that in order to help them to fulfil their potential that they need and deserve the very best facilities for teaching and learning. Over the last two decades we have transformed our facilities for Sixth Form Study, the Arts and Sport and it is now the right time to address the shortcomings of our Chemistry facilities to benefit future generations of DCGS students. The value of science and research is something which has been highlighted to us in recent months and we need to ensure that future scientists have the very best start to their scientific careers with excellent facilities in the classroom.

We are delighted that phase one of this project is nearing completion and has been completed a year ahead of our original schedule thanks to generous support from our community and a number of major external funders. Two new chemistry laboratories will open shortly. However, our fundraising continues as we move on to the second phase of the project, to refurbish our existing three Chemistry Laboratories and prep spaces to ensure we have a suite of laboratories capable of supporting teaching and learning at the highest levels. Your ongoing support is vital to us
