Science
The Science curriculum is designed to prepare students with the basic knowledge and skills to excel at GCSE and beyond. Each topic makes clear links between theoretical content and the many practical investigations included. Our bespoke curriculum allows for topics that link to the National Curriculum but also the underpinning concepts that will be continued at greater depth in Years 9 and 10.
By the end of Year 8 all students should have developed the skills to design and carry out investigations and feel confident in their knowledge to begin studying for their GCSEs.
