Challoner's played host to nearly two hours of extraordinary performances from Year 7-9 students in the annual Junior Concert. From soloists to a performance from the entire Year 7, it was another night to remember, being the inaugural concert since the opening of the new music department.

The Junior Concert isn’t just the chance for parents to watch their children, but for the student to unveil and show the school their love and skill of music. This certainly was the case on Tuesday night.

There were many eye-catching performances, in particular, 7 Holman's performance of a french song under the direction of Mr Thompson. In addition, a number of young student bands were a highlight. Great stage presence, bravery and commitment were all on show, when Millenium X and a group of Year 9’s took to the stage.

A huge thank you must go to Mr da Silva and Mr Tansley for organising this incredible event and giving up their time to help the children prepare for their big night. We look forward to a wide range of concerts set to take place next year.
