Joint Choral and Instrumental Concert

On the 25th November, musicians from both Dr Challoner’s Grammar School and Dr Challoner’s High School came together to play in the Joint Choral and Instrumental Concert of 2022. After several weeks of rehearsals, the unforgettable performance, held in Amersham Free Church where groups such as Jazz Workshop, Guitar Ensemble, Clarinet Ensemble and the Choir played their respective pieces for a concert that lasted about two hours, though it felt much quicker due to the incredible performance.

Despite the awfully chilly weather, and the unfortunate timing of an England World Cup match on the night, there was a brilliant turnout as we celebrated the musical talent from both schools. Overall, it was a fantastic experience to be a part of and a very enjoyable evening to appreciate the opportunities to learn and perform music at Challoner’s.
